So I sat down with my guidance counselor and I have some great news... I'M GOING TO GET CREDIT FOR EXCHANGE!!! I am really lucky that I got to such q wonderful high school that does so much work with afs and we get at least 5 students from afs each year. Anyway, it turns out that I will be able to get credits for everything I need to take except for us history (go figure, right??). This is like the best motivation so far because now I know that everything is possible so I need to really get working on fundraising...

Ok so it's September already. WHAT HAPPENED TO AUGUST. School started and I really need to start making some BIG money for Italy... I just wish I wasn't so busy all the time.... Oh well

Ok so you know how everyone gets that "Oh crap, what am I getting myself into...?" feeling right before they leave. Well I'm getting that feeling right now and I don't leave for a year. Anyway I guess that's it. (I know, this is a really short post.)

I Need Some Help From Everyone

Hey everyone could you please go to the link below and vote for my t-shirt design. I put alot of work into this(the final design is the 8th version) and I would really appreciate it if you all could vote for mine. If I get a ton of votes I may be chosen as one of the grand prize winners and they get 1000 dollars each. And I have to say that 1000 dollars would be an amazing help in raising money for exchange since I have to raise all the money myself, and I think we all know how hard it is to raise all that money.

So as you can probably tell I am really really REALLY excited. Why, you might ask. Well I'll tell you. I got the official "yes" from my parents which means. I'M GOING TO ITALY!!! Now I just need the money...

I Have a Problem

Ok, so I have a problem I come from a big Italian family, it's one of those "in-your-face" families that you can be away from for more that 5 minuets. So it's gonna be really hard to leave them. They are still kind of opposed to me going to Italy for a year and I think the only reason is that we are so close and my mom can't stand to have me leave. She keeps saying "FINE Rip my heart out!" Does anyone have any advice?

It's going pretty well

So this whole raising money thing is going pretty well. I am pretty sure that I can actually do this. I am proud to say that I have 3,210 dollars in my Italy fund. I am thinking about doing a raffle and raffling off some signed phillies stuff...thanks for the support everyone.

Still wraping my head around this...

So I'm gonna be living in ITALY for almost a WHOLE YEAR...it's really crazy to think about. Also I am hoping that I have support from all of my friends and family, especially when it comes to paying for the trip. I have an Italy fund and I'll be posting how much is in it regularly. I just hope everyone one can support me in any way possible because it will mean the world to me.
